Questions
Is this legally sufficient for GDPR and ePrivacy?
The banner does what regulators check for: no non-essential cookies or trackers before a choice, Accept and Reject with equal prominence, granular categories, withdrawal as easy as consent, a record of each choice, and a re-prompt after six months. Compliance also depends on your privacy policy and your category choices. We give you the tooling and the proof; we are not your lawyer.
How is unlimited pages possible when others meter it?
Page count only matters to a scanner, and scanning 5,000 pages costs us cents. Metering it is a pricing choice, not a cost. We scan your site to build the declaration and charge the same whether it finds 20 pages or 20,000.
Does it work with Webflow, Framer, WordPress, Shopify?
Yes. One script tag placed first in the head. Webflow and Framer have a custom-code field for exactly this; WordPress themes and Shopify's theme.liquid work the same way. Embedded YouTube or Maps iframes use a data-cmp-src attribute so the browser never requests them before consent.
What about Google Ads certification and the IAB TCF?
Consent Mode v2 needs no certification and is included. The IAB framework is required only if you sell programmatic ads through Google Ad Manager or AdSense in Europe. We will add it as an add-on when enough publishers ask; most agency and SaaS sites do not need it.
Where is my data stored?
Consent records are written to a database restricted to EU jurisdiction on Cloudflare. We store an anonymous consent ID, a timestamp, the choices, the banner version, the country and a browser family. No IP addresses and no raw user agents.
What happens if I cancel?
The banner keeps working and keeps honouring stored choices. You lose the dashboard, new scans and log retention beyond 30 days. A lapsed card never breaks your site's compliance.
